Albedo

Albedo is a reflection coefficient. The term albedo means ‘whiteness’ in Latin. It measures how much light that hits the Earth is being reflected back to the universe without being absorbed. It is an important concept in climatology, astronomy and for calculating reflection of buildings. The average albedo of the Earth is 30-35%, depending on cloud cover. The albedo of the fresh asphalt is 0,04, while the albedo of the snow is 0,80-0,90.

But before you dismiss this topic, ask yourself, whom are the creators of the artificial clouds trying to fool? (… by creating the artificial clouds to create higher albedo and lower the non-existing global warming?)
